Your Role at Cabot

MIG, or Management Information Group, is a team responsible for consolidating financial information regarding Cabot activities worldwide. They present this data to the Business Finance Community, reporting on actual performance and supporting the forecasting process for future activities.

 

The Process Financial Analyst is responsible for the content and integrity of various Operational and Financial activities, including: MIG business process understanding, documentation and its maintenance, change implementation and documentation, training support and business / functional analysis (as needed).

 

The position will assist with process documentation, introducing and supporting new initiatives, assisting businesses in process understanding and providing trainings to end users within business finance organization. The specific responsibilities may vary depending on the project or business needs.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Review, comprehend, and analyse end-to-end processes, assessing their impact on financial analyses and business operations with a focus on process optimization.
  • Develop and maintain MIG business process documentation.
  • Provide training on MIG processes, systems, tools to business finance community.
  • Test, implement and communicate changes and improvements to processes, content, and presentation.
  • Support the businesses in identifying, understanding process impacts thru research and analytics.
  • Take a critical view of processes and presentation to identify potential improvements that would benefit customers and /or the MIG Team.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with monthly close or experience in process excellence and data analytics.
  • Individual should be highly motivated and enjoy working in a team-oriented, time-sensitive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Individual should be able to keep a customer focus despite time constraints and competing demands.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain accounting, process, or technical issues in a clear, concise manner to both finance and non-finance personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills: documenting processes and procedures.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including MS Access; experience with JDE One World, Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI), Essbase, Anaplan preferred.
  • Fluency in English.

Additional Details:

  • Working Hours: 9:00 - 17:30.
  • Salary: 2150 - 2300 EUR Gross.
  • Health insurance from first working day.
  • Monthly allowance & Yearly bonus.
  • Hybrid work schedule (3 days on site and 2 days’ work from home).
