Your Role at Cabot

Provides Human Resources service delivery at small site/plant, which is often not a legal entity. Manages all HR activities including staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training. Responsible for implementation of Human Resources policies and programs at site.

How You Will Make an Impact

· Manages all HR activities including staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and training. Ensures site’s compliance with regulations affecting labor practices.

· Participates in training across site to enhance skill levels of the workforce, thereby contributing to the organization’s overall effectiveness. Participates in the delivery of Cabot’s Visions and Values training.

· Implements local compensation systems and processes that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

· Collaborates with Corporate Compensation to ensure local compensation needs are met. Administers global compensation programs and processes for the site.

· Provides guidance in employee relations area, promoting open communications and a positive work environment. Works with employees and managers to ensure understanding of roles and responsibilities, effective performance appraisals, and career development. · · Ensures that policies and processes are fairly and uniformly applied.

· Where required, manages HRMIS and Payroll functions at the local site to assure compliance with the global system and local pay practices. May oversee activities in other related areas, depending on location.

· Effectively practice PBM by coaching and developing direct employees.

· Supports efforts to implement and maintain the Responsible Care® Management System in line with the requirements of the RC14001® technical specification, as applicable to the site/region.

What You Will Bring to Cabot

· Knowledge of Human Resources function with particular focus on staffing, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration.

· Knowledge of HRIS systems and applications.

· Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing and to provide consultation, advice and handle sensitive matters. Ability to influence and lead others and interface with all levels of employees and external entities.

· Planning and organizational skills to organize resources, conflicting demands and deadlines.
