Your Role at Cabot

Cabot Inkjet Colorants has been developing and manufacturing aqueous inkjet pigment dispersions for over 25 years. During this time, Cabot has built extensive design, manufacturing and application expertise. As we partner with our inkjet industry customers, we utilize our knowledge with the goal of delivering against market-recognized cost, sustainability, and performance targets.

 

As a sales Representative you will play a critical role supporting Commercial Director, and working closely with Regional Sales Managers of the Inkjet business. You will be at the heart of our sales operations—providing essential administrative support that ensures the smooth, professional management of our most valued global Key Accounts. Beyond supporting the team, you will actively prospect for new opportunities and take ownership of developing and nurturing smaller accounts across diverse international markets. This is a dynamic role for a motivated professional who thrives on building relationships, spotting growth potential, and contributing directly to our commercial success.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Performs customer service and account maintenance duties for established stable customers/markets. Works with customers and distributors on behalf of Sales representatives responding to inquiries, requests for product brochures, samples and/or price quotes.
• Administers sample allocation and shipment to customers. Works with internal groups to select the correct product sample and price quotes. Ensures timely delivery of samples; prepares SH&E documentation, packaging requirements, cover letters.
• Organizes and coordinates customer visits and participation in trade shows. Arranges for meetings and demos. Attend trade shows and related events as appropriate.
• Maintain competitive intelligence & track packaging press installations in the market
• Provides pricing, forecasting for small accounts, and develops new prospects. Will have accounts assigned.
• Assists in preparing background sales call information and research.
• Participate in the implementation of Commercial Excellence by understanding and applying business rules, customer segmentation practices and taking part in relevant meetings and calls.
• Sales administration for all customer complaints
• Maintains rebates and commissions records. Administers approval process.
• Performs ad hoc market research as requested.
• Attends training sessions and accompany sales representatives on calls to learn business and sales approach as well as Cabot’s sales philosophy and pricing guidelines.

• Results Orientation. Demonstrates determination, know-how and accountability for achieving results
• Fluency in English is required. Fluency in one additional language (of the region) is preferred.


Education/Experience


• Bachelor/University degree in Business or technical discipline
• Prior experience in a Sales related function in a multinational environment preferred
