  • Position Summary

    Provides Human Resources service delivery at Cabot plant in Valasske Mezirici. Maintains and enhances the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices for the site. The role is reporting to Facility General Manager of the site and is an active member of the site leadership team.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Establishes and maintains collaboration with the site leadership team and employees, regional and global HR organization. Proactively assesses organizational performance to recommend and drive action through a consultative and constructive approach by influencing key stakeholders.
    • Coaches site leaders on HR policies and processes, including talent planning, learning and development, and performance management to promote engagement and a culture of continuous growth and development.
    • In collaboration with site leadership team, plans and leads organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles and/or processes that create speed and efficiency and support rapidly shifting business demands.
    • Actively drives a workforce planning for the entire site, selection and onboarding processes ensuring best practice and company policy are applied and the required competence is attracted and retained.
    • Assesses organizational performance systemically, defining talent gaps and proposing HR solutions that support client business objectives.
    • Coaches business leaders on key organizational and management issues.
    • Plans and facilitates work sessions to develop business strategies (i.e. vision, mission, value, objectives) that help support organizational focus, efficiency, speed, and business results.
    • Coaches and builds the responsibility and capability of managers to anticipate and pre-empt employee relations issues. Supports managers when addressing and resolving concerns. Guides and advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance, probationary, absence management and capability related casework and application of associated procedures.
    • Develops and executes a lifecycle approach to talent management focused on forecasting, staffing, on-boarding, development, performance management, career / succession planning, talent movement and retention, leveraging rigorous workforce analytics and insights.
    • Actively drives talent acquisition, with a strong focus on acquiring and retaining top talent and on building pipeline for future needs. Uses understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate talent movement into and throughout the organization.
    • Develops thoughtful, integrated approaches to promote diversity and inclusion in talent attraction, development and retention.
    • Assesses employee training and development needs based on business strategy in order to help close gaps between current and future skill sets.
    • Is responsible for all employee relations related matters effectively with timely delivery. Liaises closely with payroll and benefits teams to ensure instructions are implemented appropriately. Ensures data accuracy and integrity in line with data protection and legal requirements.

    Requirements

    • Demonstrated experience and ability to balance business partnering skills with employee advocacy.
    • Possesses both critical thinking capability and hands-on HR business plan implementation experience.
    • 5-7+ years of progressively responsible experience as an HR Business Partner and/or HR management in a dynamic environment, with specific experience in strategy development, organizational design, talent management and change management.
    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related discipline.
    • Experience operating in a multinational with Business Shared Services in place preferred
    • Fluency in English and Czech.
    • Tech savvy – experience working with HR IS systems such as PeopleSoft and Applicant Tracking Systems. Proficient working with Microsoft Office.
