Cabot Barry currently has a vacancy for an Assistant Finance Manager. The UK Finance team is primarily responsible for the financial reporting (US GAAP and local/statutory) of Cabot Carbon Ltd (Tolling manufacturer), Cabot Performance Material UK (Sales & Marketing) and 8 UK holding companies. The Assistant Finance Manager will support the UK Finance Manager in ensuring that all finance, tax and accounting records are compliant with both US and local UK GAAP, including but not limited to:
As a key member of the UK Finance team the Assistant Finance Manager will work closely with the UK Finance Manager to support the business unit leaders, liaise with external bodies such as HMRC, National Statistics Office, external consultants such as Auditors and Tax Advisers. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy with a detail oriented approach. Exceptional technical financial skills with an analytical and critical thinking mindset are prerequisite.
